College-Bound Equestrian Program

For riders who want to compete on a college equestrian team preparation begins well before graduation. Pixshire’s College-Bound Equestrian Program is designed for ambitious junior riders interested in competing on an NCEA or IHSA team.

Pixshire has a strong record of helping riders achieve their collegiate equestrian goals. To date, every rider who has trained with Pixshire with the specific goal of competing on an IHSA or NCEA team has achieved that goal.

With college teams recruiting two and even three seasons ahead, it is important to begin preparing for those opportunities as early as possible. Building on Pixshire’s rider-development philosophy, the College-Bound Program focuses on developing confident, educated, and adaptable riders with the skills and experience necessary to pursue collegiate competition.

The program is designed to prepare riders for the demands of team competition while helping them make the transition from junior competition to collegiate riding. Whether a rider is beginning to explore collegiate equestrian opportunities or has already identified a specific goal, the program provides a framework for preparing for what comes next.

Thoroughbred Development

The thoroughbred is seeing a resurgence in the show ring. In recent years the popularity of The Thoroughbred Makeover and The Jockey Club’s Thoroughbred Incentive Program have fueled a growing interest in the Thoroughbred as a riding or competition horse, an interest that has skyrocketed in 2026 with the addition of the Thoroughbred Hunter Derby at the Upperville Colt and Horse Show.

Jack is from the last generation of riders who largely grew up riding thoroughbreds. His exposure and experience go a step further as not only did his family breed and pinhole thoroughbreds for the track, but Jack and his mother spent his teen years selecting horses off the track for development and retraining for the hunter and equitation rings.

Jack has continued his work with thoroughbred hunters and jumpers throughout his career and they hold a special place in his heart. Through the Pixshire Thoroughbred Development Program, Jack will share his appreciation of the thoroughbred with participants while sharing with them a time-proven methodology that has garnered results for his horses and riders.

Rider Development

Building better partnerships through focused training.

Pixshire’s Rider Development Program is ideal for riders with a new horse, green or developing horses, or partnerships that would benefit from more personalized attention. The program is an intensive training regimen meant to both enhance the performance of the horse and the education of the rider. The program develops the team together and makes the rider an integral part of the training process.

The Rider Development Program is ideal for the rider that wants something extra out of their riding experience or those considering training as a career.
